Posted by Annwen Bates on 23rd May 2018

Visit the inspirational Festival of Education 21-22 June and hear our CEO Louise Cooper speak.

The Festival of Education

The Festival of Education brings together the very best of education’s most forward thinking advocates, teachers, policy makers, and is a leading forum for thought leadership, debate and professional development.

Held over two days at Wellington College, South West of London, around 4000 education professionals will gather to take part in hundreds of sessions.  “Outstanding content in a festival environment”, in the spirit of “Learning should be inspiring and fun”.

Louise’s session on Friday morning will be highly interactive, more workshop than speech. Aimed at governors, chairs, those curious about governing boards and teachers keen to explore how becoming a governor can help their development, this discussion will inspire you with practical tips on getting the best out of your governing board.  Through case studies, thought provoking questions and debate, we will celebrate the “unsung heroes” that are governors and their human stories. Join us to explore how you find and harness the best of volunteer governors, to enhance your school and help build local communities.

For more information about the speakers and sessions, and to book tickets visit the Festival of Education’s website.
